"You have the fitness, now gain the experience and knowledge necessary to race at your best!!"

Waco, Texas Training Camp & Race Experience.

There is more to racing an IRONMAN or IRONMAN 70.3 than just having the endurance necessary to complete the distance.  During the Waco Long Course training camp, you will learn everything you need to know to produce your best results while enjoying race day to the fullest.  Everyone is welcome, but space is limited to ensure a low athlete-to-coach ratio.

You will learn from expert coaches with numerous Ironman and Ironman 70.3 finishes.  These coaches are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about helping athletes perform at their peak while having a ton of fun in the process.  These coaches will be available to answer your questions; advise on race strategy, gear selection, and more; and reduce your stress and worry headed into race day!

Each day will include training, educational sessions, and fun social activities!  Training will include open water, bike rides, runs, and recovery sessions.  Educational sessions will cover race preparation and logistics; transitions and change tents; gear and personal needs bags; nutrition, hydration, and cooling protocols; and everything else you'll need between now and the time you cross the finish line!

Camp will be led by John Mayfield, a full-time triathlon coach who has worked with hundreds of athletes of all abilities.  He is USA Triathlon Level II and IRONMAN U certified, has led training experiences at almost every IRONMAN venue in the United States, and is a 10x IRONMAN finisher himself!
